Had some storage from throughout the years around and decided to take advantage of prime day deals and newegg sales as well.
This build is for my girlfriend, she intends to use it for photo editing and general use.
I had $100 usd of prime so I spent that on the gpu (rx590 for 79.99) and picked up a bundled 2600 and Prime b450 on newegg for $150 but the item that started the buying waterfall was the corsair carbide case for 54.99. I swapped the 850x I got on sale with the 650x in my current build since the 850w would've been extreme overkill in this unit.
I quickly found out why the carbide was an amazon deal of the day item as building in that thing was a challenge. Halfway through I had to reroute usb, audio, and front panel connectors because they made things way too tight in the psu shroud. The fact that I mounted the rgb hub to the side of the 3.5 bays made things even worse, but thankfully managed to get all the cables where they needed to be without it looking too sore on the eyes or putting too much pressure on the headers.
I used the wraith cooler that came with my 2700x for the cpu and have clocked to 3.8Ghz without issue. I couldn't squeeze much more out of the gpu. +20 core clock and +100 memory. Oh well.
All discounts aside and including storage this unit would cost roughly $1100 USD. Storage: 225 Discounts and credits: 275
